Lead Teacher - Beatriz Sequeira

Born in Sonora, Mexico.

I Have been working with children for five years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Mexico.

Hello, my name is Nancy Resendiz and I work with the toddlers here at Miró International Preschool. I just graduated from Westwood High School in 2019 and I am planning to attended college in the fall. Throughout my life I have dedicated a lot of my time to taking care of children and I must say I enjoy every minute of it.  I have two years of experience in childcare starting off as a nanny. This will be my first year at Miró, but my second working in the Summer program, I am very happy to be part of this preschool’s family.

Originally from Venezuela, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacin University in Maracaibo, Venezuela. This will be my second year working in Miró.

What I love about working with children is the share and teach them new things.

Prior to working at Miró, I worked in Social Communications.

My mission as a teacher is to give them more knowledge, while giving them respect, and lots of love.

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree specialized in preschool education in Venezuela.  I have been working as a teacher for 15 years, and this will be my first at Miró as teacher assistant.

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Proudly have been working with children for eight years. I have a 5 years old daughter and I am very excited to be part of this amazing preschool!

Originally from Phoenix, AZ. This will be my third year as a teacher assistant, but my first at Miró. I have always loved working with children. “What I love most about children is their laugh, it warms my heart.  My mission is to teach our children in the best way possible.”

Lead Teacher - Reyna Valenzuela

Hi, I am Reyna Valenzuela and I teach alongside Ms. Mariana in the 3 years old classroom. This is my second-year teaching at Miró International Preschool, and I am excited to play and learn with the three years old! I grew up in Mexico and I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Monterey; I feel very privileged to be joining this amazing team of teachers and to facilitate growth and learning for the children.

I am Ms. Mariana, I’m from Venezuela and this will be my first year at Miró, I will be working with Maestra Reyna and I can’t wait to spend a wonderful year with your child. I am a Lawyer, but after spending 2 years working in a Law firm in my Country, I realize that my passion is to work with littler ones!

I will try to bring patience and joy to the classroom, and I am very passionate about helping children grow and learn.

I am originally from Chile.

This is my second year working at Miró. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a Master in Bilingual Education.

I have passion for early learning, especially enriching young minds through play and mindful experiences. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, and enjoying life with my husband and children!

This is Araceli’s second year at Miró. She is originally from Mexico. Araceli has been working with children for seven years. She brings patience and joy to the classroom and is very passionate about helping children grow and learn. Araceli has three children. In her free time she loves to cook!

Lead Teacher - Amanda Valero
Jr. Kinder 1

I was born and raised in Merida, Venezuela. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from La Universidad Nacional Experimental Simon Rodriguez. This will be my second year at Miró and my first as a Jr. Kinder teacher. After spending eight years teaching the preschool class in Venezuela, I was excited to expand my role at Miró International Preschool, as a Spanish teacher to the little ones of the school! Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, I am committed to providing your family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. At Miró International Preschool, we know that play is a child’s most important work, and we strive to create and maintain an environment where your child can grow and thrive while exploring the world around them. Maria Clemente - Lead Teacher Jr. Kinder 2

I was born and raised in Spain. In 2016, I transitioned over to Miró International Preschool becoming a founding staff member. I have over 11 years of experience working with children in a classroom.  I have a CDA from Paradise Valley Community College; at this moment I’m working toward my Associates in Early Childhood Education. My goal is to continue growing as a professional to give the children at the best possible learning experiences that will help them develop and get ready not only for kindergarten but for life.

Prior to working at Miró, I was working as a Medical Assistant at a Women’s Clinic/OB. I have a one-year old son whom I love more than anything in my life.
